PHL Contender Division Trade Breaker 1

PHL Contender Division Trade Breaker 1    This contains opinions of the writer and does not reflect on the overall values of the Wrenport by Wind We have our first Contender’s division trade since the draft! It includes the Schuylkill Channel Cats and the Waco Weather Men . The Channel Cats sends Nem to the Weather Men in exchange of Veron . This trade made by two good teams (4th and t-5th) in the division, seeks to strengthen their positions as soon as Monday. Both players are good, stable, veteran defensemen that will be very useful for their new team. Veron , a great play driver, was point per game or more in Season 1 and Season 2 of D2 (17P in 16GP, 3P in 3GP). He will probably thrive in SCC’s system, playing behind Jackk and DyslexicWarlus. Nem is a more defensive player, who puts up points nonetheless (8P in 19GP, 2P in 4GP). If Tkachuk was looking for a veteran presence, he got exactly that with Nem. Firstly, by his age, secondly, in playing experience being ros...

Division 3 Season 2 Draft Grades

Grading Every PHL Division 3 Team's Draft Written by: notlad  This is an opinion piece and does not reflect on the values of the Wrenport     The second season of the PHL is official underway!  During season one in division three, the Manhattan Commanders took the top spot after defeating the Chiefland Sentinels.  Now for season two, we have some returning teams with familiar names and other new challengers for the trophy.  Their first task was to assemble their teams through the draft, so lets take a look at how the captains did.     Philadelphia Revolution   Grade: C   Quote from the captain: "The #1 pick being stolen was not favorable but it was entirely my fault.  I still feel very sound in my picks and feel the commissioners played fair and as in terms of the D3 draft as a whole, this was a great D3 draft for all.  Good luck on this season to all!"  -OfficeLAMP   Analysis: Philadelphia had the first overall pick...
