Hey everybody! I’m going to be doing a “Trade Breakers” segment for all of the divisions any time that a trade is made giving some open news about trades and acquisitions made by teams across all divisions. This post is a little bit late as these trades happened during week 2 but I kind of thought about the idea a little bit late.

Trade 1

Castors de Saint-Francois-Xavier-de-Brompton  Acquires:

Captain of the Moose: Montpelier- “The Moose are an extremely tight-knit team, so moving ImNotStamkos was a difficult decision, but after a protracted negotiation with SFX, we identified a trade that will benefit both parties. Captain of the Grizzlies: Grintly-”Us here at Sierra Nevada are sad to see Nem go, but we welcome TicTac with open arms. I think both teams were struggling and hopefully this trade opened up the door for us to make some big moves! We wish the best to Nem and SFX.”

Captain of the Castors: iNick- “TicTac was a guy I was super high on going into the draft, he was a lot of fun to play with and will be terrifying to play against. SFX needed to change up the play styles and go a different direction, we think Nem brings us that different style that will hopefully complement the rest of the team well.”

Nem- “The trade did not come as a surprise to me. Grizz and I had mutual conversations leading up to the trade and we both agreed that the Grizzlies needed a bump in offense. I think picking up TicTac will give them the boost they need. The Castors are similar in the amount of firepower they have but were looking for that final piece on defense, I am honored to have been chosen to fulfill that duty and look forward to locking down the D zone for them.”

Division 3 Season 2 Draft Grades
